Casimir Mechanism Main Quest
Stats (Co-op): Difficulty - 3/10, Est. Completion Time - 1:20 to 1:40 Hrs, , RNG Rating - 5/5 (Box Luck)
You'll need four players to complete this Main Quest.
By the end of the Main Quest, you'll need upgraded versions of the Ray Gun (or Mark 2 in BO3) and Thundergun, and the Gersh Device and Matryoska Dolls equipment. Ideally, each player would have one of the different items.
Prerequisites
- Turn on the Power and unlock Pack-a-Punch.
Node 1 - Gersh Device Generator
- Obtain the Gersh Device from the Mystery Box.
- Outside the map, in the open area near the PhD Flopper (Widow's Wine) Lunar Lander station, there is a sparking generator. You'll need to throw a Gersh Device at the machine to suck it up. If it was close enough, the generator will disappear, and you'll hear a sound.
- Go to the Stamin-Up Lander Station and interact with the TV in the flooded area below some stairs. An eye symbol will appear, and a voice will announce something about Node 1 if done correctly.
- Near the TV, there's a crashed rocket module on the ground between the TV and the Claymore/Trip Mine wallbuy. There will be a single light turned on. After every main section of the quest, one more light will turn on. You can come here to vaguely check which step you're on.
Node 2 - Perk Machine Buttons
- On the next Space Monkey Max Ammo round, four buttons will appear on walls near each of the following Perk Machines. All players must interact with a different button at the same time.
- The Monkeys will only start spawning once anyone in the game has purchased a perk.
- If you fail to interact on one round, you'll have to go till the next Monkey round to try again.
- Perk Machine Button location:
- If done correctly, a sound will play, the buttons will disappear, and the voice will say something about Node 2.
Node 3 - Pack-a-Punch Pressure Plate
- All players must stand on the pressure plate (circular area), below where the Rocket was near Pack-a-Punch, for two minutes straight. You can shoot, use equipment, and move while on the pressure plate. However, the best way to do this is to make a crawler, bring it to the other side of the map (around the Stamin Up area), then run to the pressure plate. The knife in the clock on the wall indicates your progress.
- When the knife makes a full revolution around the clock, a Nuke will go off, and the announcer will talk about Node 3.
Node 4 - Spell Luna with the Lunar Lander
- In the air around the map, you'll see letters (only while a lander is active). You'll need to collect letters in order to spell "Luna". To collect a letter, you'll need to fly into it while riding a Lunar Lander. There are other letters, not in Luna, that you'll need to avoid.
- The best way to do this is to have one player at three of the four Lander Stations (Spawn, Speed Cola, and Stamin-up), with the last player standing on the Lander at spawn. One of the stations will call the lander to them, with the spawn player riding it. Here's the optimal order to call the landers:
- Lander at spawn called to Stamin-up, collecting "L"
- Stamin-up to Spawn, collecting "U"
- Spawn to Speed Cola, collecting "N"
- Speed Cola to Stamin-up, collecting "A"
- If done correctly, the announcer will talk about Node 4.
Node 5 - Shoot Gersh Device with Everything
- Obtain an upgraded Ray Gun (or Mark 2), upgraded Thundergun, Gersh Device and Matryoska Dolls equipment.
- In front of the crashed rocket module, near the Stamin-Up lander, there will be a white orb on the ground. Throw a gersh device so it lands on top of the orb, then shoot it with the Thundergun, Ray Gun, and throw a Matryoska Doll at it.
- Fire until the Orb begins to rise into the air. Doctor Gersh will speak, thanking you.
- You will be given a 90-second Death Machine (and all Perks on BO3 only).
