Easter Eggs
Perk & Pack-a-Punch Machine Drops
- Instead of being in fixed locations, Perk machines and the Pack-a-Punch fall from the sky throughout the match. The order they spawn is different each game. An incoming drop is indicated by an air raid siren and a fireball falling from the mushroom cloud. Below is information on how/when a new machine will spawn.
- In Solo, the Quick Revive machine always spawns immediately at the start of the match.
- The other Perk machines and the Pack-a-Punch machine will drop randomly from the sky after a delay, based on the following round intervals:
- First Machine: Drops on a random round between 3 and 5 (Wait 30-60 seconds after the start of the round)
- Second Machine: Drops on a random round between 6 and 9 (Wait 30-60 seconds after the start of the round)
- Third Machine: Drops on a random round between 10 and 14 (Wait 60-120 seconds)
- Fourth Machine: Drops on a random round between 15 and 19 (Wait 60-120 seconds)
- Fifth Machine: Drops on a random round between 20 and 25 (Wait 60-120 seconds)
Richtofen Radios & Eye Colour Change
- At the start of round 3, the TV in the Living Room of the Green House will play a transmission from Richtofen. This transmission (and the following ones) are about him doing the Moon Easter Egg (which is happening at the same time as Nuketown).
- On a random round between 4 and 9, the second transmission will play from the same location.
- On a random round between 10 and 17, the third transmission will play.
- On a random round between 18 and 22, the fourth transmission will play.
- On round 25, the fifth and final transmission will play. At this point, the zombies' eyes will turn blue, and Richtofen will become the announcer.
Marlton Bunker Quotes
- Melee the bunker door behind the Green House to play a quote from Marlton (playable character from Tranzit).
- The audio seems to be quiet, even at max volume.
- There are 14 different quotes from Marlton, but you are limited to one per round.
"Tranzit" Bus Horn
- On a random round between 5 and 10, a bus horn will sound. This is thought to be from the bus from Tranzit.
"Samantha's Lullaby" Song
- Interact with the three teddy bears around the map to trigger the song.
8-Bit "Re-Damned" Song
- Wait for the Nuketown population counter sign in the Cul-de-sac to read exactly 15. Every kill lowers the number by 1. At 0, the next kill wraps the counter around back to 99.
- While the population counter reads 15, grab the power-up from inside the shed behind the Yellow House to trigger the song.
8-Bit "Coming Home" Song
- Take off the heads of all 28 mannequin by any means necessary (shooting, melee, etc.) to trigger the song. While most mannequins spawn inside the playable area, they are not restricted to it; several potential spawn locations are out-of-bounds, like behind fences and barricades. There are 54 possible mannequins spawn locations.
- Here are some more well-hidden locations:
- Once you take off the last head, the song will start.
